Chiropractic Care

Chiropractic is most often associated with back or neck pain and general pain relief but is not the true role of chiropractic care. All of the nerves which supply the muscles, organs and other tissues that make up your body so that you can function must first run from your brain through your spine; and if you spine or other joints are misaligned you may experience pain or loss of function.

The most common chiropractic technique is commonly known as an adjustment and you may have already heard of it. The role of an adjustment is to correct the misalignments within the spine to allow proper flow of energy through the nerves in the body such that function returns – pain relief is often a happy side effect.

Chiropractic care is suitable for most people and can be used on people in all stages of life, from newborn babies to elderly people. Your chiropractor will be able to advise you on the best course of treatment to suit your personal needs following a comprehensive consultation.
